Synopsis
Film describes history of the newspaper "Russian idea" established by Russian emigrants in France after Revolution in Russia. Later on this newspaper was gifted to Russian State library.
Among the heroes whose destinies has been connected closely with the newspaper, we see Count Sheremetiev, Prince Trubetskoy, the oldest boarder of "Russian house" Ekaterina de Girts and editors of the modern newspaper.
This film shows great role of the newspaper as connection between abandoned motherland and Russian Diaspora abroad.
