Synopsis
The film devoted to the last war campaigns of the Second World War. The film is based on the chronics that were made by war cameramen of USSR, Germany, Hungary, Norway. Most of the sequences of the film were never been shown before on the TV.
Film I – “Long way to Germany” tells about last battles of the war that were held on by Karellian, Leningrad and Baltic fronts. The armies of these fronts finished the war in Norway, Baltic region and Eastern Prussia.
Film II – “Foreign campaign” – tells about heroic soldiers and officers of the 2, 3 and 4 Ukrainian fronts. They finished war in Austria, Hungary and Czechoslovakia.
Film III – “Road to Berlin” – about the most scale army operation of the II World War – campaign in Berlin. The main accent is made on the persons of the Army commanders - Zhukov, Rokossovskiy, Konev.
