Synopsis
The split between men and women in the country side has become more sharply defined. Women leading by the village teachers ran to religion. Besides all problems some Finnish people visited the place. The film is a kind of presentation of a village life in all its variety: school, pupils, local people, missioners and teachers… Their ideas about religion and themselves are a kind of the worldly wisdom of a modern life.
